Meltblown cloth Meltblown cloth is the core material of masks. Masks with good protective effects usually consist of three layers of materials, two layers of polypropylene spunbond nonwoven material inside and outside, and polypropylene meltblown nonwoven material in the middle layer. However, masks with poor protective effects also come in many forms. For example, instead of using meltblown nonwovens for the intermediate layer, ordinary spunbond nonwovens are used. The fiber diameter of spunbond nonwovens is thicker than that of meltblown nonwovens, and its pore size in the web is relatively large, so it cannot effectively remove fine particles and droplets in the air.
